Getting back on track

Time Since Last Nap: 1 hour
Status: Feeling good again
Currently Working On: Housework

Yeah, seriously effed up yesterday, sleeping in like that. My parents still refuse to offer any support, and tell me that I'll kill myself within a week. So that's just more motivation to stick with this and get it to work.

I know I'll be seriously set back by that hardcore sleep-in, but I've been staying to the schedule religiously since then. It's also getting easier to fall asleep right away, since I'm so exhausted. Now the trouble is waking up again, and I'm lucky my cell phone is so loud. I'm also working on getting up to my alarm (Read somewhere in a blog that not getting up to your alarm is a habit and must be broken by practice) and so I've been taking his advice. Especially when I'm not particularly tired, I can make sure to get up, stretch, throw off every blanket, then turn off the alarm. I'm hoping that new habit will stick when I'm dead tired and I've got that little beeping devil in my ear.

I'm a bit stuck with hauling wood, since we've just come into a new moon I have no light to haul by. Fortunately, we have a considerable pile just sitting within floodlight reach, already split and waiting to be stacked. (I plan to impress my parents tonight by getting dishes, laundry, cleaning, wood, and breakfast done for them. They probably still won't supoprt my sleeping schedule, but at least they'll be quiet about it.)

I've also decided that I'm going to start working out. I've got enough time, something like weight training would be excellent. On top of that, I really could use some bulking up (right now my pecs look something like... nothing.). Hopefully I'll be able to get at least some stomach muskles before school is out. (Oh yeah, bring on the ladies... :D)

Okay, so I've hit more than my share of setbacks. Now it's time for me to just get back on track and do it. I might also make an alarm clock hooked to a water balloon... :D
