Okay, so this is my blog. I am dashingly handsome, and currently on a valiant quest to find the limits of sleep deprivation and human fortitude. My quest is for Polyphasic Sleep.
Okay, so here's how it will go down: Polyphasic Sleep is a form of sleep in which the day's rest is broken into six 30-minute naps, evenly spaced throughout the day. Yes, that's a total of 3 hours sleep. I know. But it's doable, and some have even reduced to 20-minute naps, down to a meager 2 hours of sleep a day.
I'm not quite ready to go for 2 hours yet, but I know I'd like to try and Polysleep. Ever since I first heard my mother tell me "Time for bed," I knew that sleep was a useless enemy of productive activity. I've spent the rest of my life in at least some stage of sleep deprivation, including right now. But all that is going to change.
Tonight I will begin Polysleep by going to bed early and sleeping late - this, I hope, will give me a nice bank of sleep cushion to help ease myself into polysleep. After that, my total nap schedule will be:
3:00-3:30
6:00-6:30 (Just before school)
11:30-12:00 (Study hall before lunch)
4:00-4:30 (Just after school)
8:00-8:30
12:00-12:30
Well, that's how it's going to go down. Wish me luck.. and insomnia.
